Frequently asked
How does the photo time clock stop buddy-punching?
Every clock in, clock out and break captures a front-camera photo tied to the timestamp and the staff member. Managers see the photo next to each entry in the approval queue, so a clock-in by anyone other than the right person is obvious.
Do staff need their own logins or devices?
No. Clockd uses a shared-tablet model — one device per location. Staff identify with their phone number and a 4-digit PIN. There's also an optional staff mobile app with Face ID for clocking on the move.
Is Clockd built for Australian Fair Work?
Yes. Employment classifications, casual loading, leave entitlements under the NES, public holidays and overtime thresholds are built into the platform.
Can I export to my payroll provider?
Approved hours become payroll items based on your pay rules. You can export to CSV or Google Sheets for your payroll process.
What does it cost?
There's a free tier to get started, and paid plans scale with the features you need. Pricing is per the team you actually use — book a demo and we'll tailor it to your venue.
